After a bipartisan backlash over the planned live streaming of the execution of the Fort Hood Shooter, Trump announced that he is instead considering making it a limited series. Trump has asked Silence of the Lambs screenwriter Ted Tally to write a draft.

Greg Dyro, an independent producer formerly with Warner Brothers, is in talks with Skydance to make the show. "It will be very tasteful," said Dyro.

"There will be lots of flags," said Trump.

AI will be used sparingly in the series: Colonel Klink of Hogan's Heroes will command the firing squad.

"I insisted on it," said Trump.
