In a blistering dissent, Justice Alito excoriated the rest of the Supreme Court for having the nerve to declare that the U.S. Postal System was designed to deliver mail.

"It is axiomatic that if the Post Office has the power to deliver the mail, it has the power to put it into garbage bags or bake it into pies," he wrote, disagreeing with seven of his brethren who ruled that the Trump Administration could not put into place an untested, hastily organized plan to block delivery of mail-in ballots that had been detailed on a Big Mac wrapper found under a couch in the Oval Office.

Trump was to put the plan into operation only seven weeks before the midterm elections. Justice Kavanaugh agreed that it was too close to the election to put the "mail-in voter fraud fraud" in place, but agreed that he would be happy to do Trump's bidding early next year.
